Every patriotic American needs to refer to them as such 100% of the time.

They enabled his rise through decades of gaslighting their "base", got behind him when he got the nomination and now are protecting him out of crazed partis an ship.

They need to be made to own it.

Removing a president is very difficult, by design. At this point it would cause more unrest and increase levels of distrust among those who support him. They would double down.

As sad as it is, I think the only way to gain with this crowd is to let the extremist positions fail. Look at how Kansas has practically fallen apart under extreme conservative policies.

I know, i know, anyone who is not a white male is going to get the shaft.

But each time 45 gets stopped, either legislatively or legally, he is going to go public to his supporters and say, I'm trying to help you but the system is rigged against us. This is his strategy. He will ride it out to the end, albeit, the bitter end.

Pence will be so much better for the poor, LGBTQ, women's rights and immigrants?

Trump is damaging Republicans and conservatism. He is building progressive momentum. Your thought that Pence will be more kind to the groups you mention is completely inaccurate.

He would probably even get more done with Ryan by staying on message, hurting said groups even more. Neither will provide any positive results. We do have some benefits from Trump.

I want to see Trump impeached. It's not because Pence would be better. In any way.

if we take the house in 18 or the Senate, we will stop them so that should be our priority. Now Trump is a madman who just might use nukes...I don't think Pence would. Nor, do I think he would support Russian and destroy NATO or start a new war. It is the Russian roulette in a sense...but Trump is crazy. Plus Trump has supporters...I doubt Pence does.

however Trump is a huge threat to the US foreign policy wise and in fifteen years I don't want to be reading about some other ethnic minority being genocided and their women being serially raped like the Yazidi by ISIS because of that stupid debacle of the Iraq war that Bush got us into. It is an awful position to have to take, I hate the thought of Pence getting the white house but Trump is scaring the entire world.

We're ALL fucked and he's dug in there like a tick.

But that doesn't mean that he's not going to be the inspiration to resist and organize.

And let's not disregard the fact that's he super incompetent, which means that out of all the possible GOPr alternatives, he's the most lazy, distracted and incompetent.

2018 will tell A LOT about this country, in fact this

We need to see BIG gains in municipal elections, not just small, but BIG.

Then, a complete turnover in 2018.

Fox is being critical of him. Fox is the mouthpiece of the GOP and with them coming down on Trump here and there it can be assumed it is because they are being told to...it certainly is not because they are independent journalists on a quest for truth.

They'd be smarter to dump him in the long run at this point, but they won't. They really got themselves into a pickle with Trump. It's hard to get rid of a president. Just how much damage depends on 2018. We can't screw this up.

Having said that, their districts are so gerrymandered that donnie will have to literally nuke kansas city before his approvals drop in those districts.

So you're probably right.
