Trump Fans Want Shepard Smiths Head for Slamming President on Fox News

Not all Fox News hosts are Republican lemmings. Take Shepard Smith, who has been carving out a name for himself as a voice of dissension at the network, speaking out against President Trump with growing regularity.

He took his disapproval to new heights on Thursday, deriding Trump shortly after his first solo presidential press conference.

“Your opposition was hacked and the Russians were responsible for it and your people were on the phone with Russia on the same day it was happening and we’re fools for asking the questions? No, sir,” Smith said on air.

Smith’s comments got everyone fired up on Twitter, with many Trump supporters calling to both boycott him and demand that Fox News fire him. Of course, others came to Smith’s defense once his name became a trending topic of the day. Here are the highlights:
