The darndest thing

Back in the day, Art Linkletter’s show had a delightful segment called “Kids Say the Darndest Things”, and many parents found themselves blushing as their offspring blurted on national television. I was reminded of that when a friend laughingly related her grandson’s very enthusiastic public announcement of his trophy in the potty-training marathon. And darned if that doesn’t help to explain the vague sense of déjà vu while watching yesterday’s bizarre press conference.

The only one I remember was when the "kid" was asked why he wasn't eating his Jello, he responded with.

"It keeps wiggling. It isn't dead yet"

we should have a daily segment called "tRump says the darndest things" so the nation can laugh at the silly, orange kid with the stupid haircut? Yes, I support that entirely!
