Can We stop the RIGHT WING REPUBLICANS?

Every day I am seeing little things making it more and more uncomfortable for certain people to maintain a normal life in America. Discrimination against people of color and different religions (and non-religious people as well.) (And Sexual Orientation!)

Its become increasingly clear that there will come a point when many of us will become unwanted. But what do they expect us to do?

Right now, Trump and his Republican government are planning to make sure many of us are escorted to the border and kicked out, but what will they do with the rest of us? Those of us who were born here? The Native-American? The Black-American, The Asian-American, The Hispanic-American, The Middle-Eastern American? What sinister plans will they have to deal with us? We know they want to put us in our place, but what is that Place?

What will the Trumpster's plan be to deal with the rest of us who don't quite fit into his image of America.

For years the Republican right have harped on how bad it is in America for "good decent white Christian people." Fox News has had the loudest drum beat, with their "War on Christmas" and other stupid themes that put many of us at a disadvantage. We at least had President Obama on our side as he was one of us. He had our back.

But he has gone, and now the pendulum has swung to the far right, with placing this person in the white house along with an Alt-right leader, and people even the Klu Klux Klan have approved. The White Supremacists have apparently won.

No one can tell the Future, but we are running down a very dangerous road at the moment, and not sure where it will all lead and that's the scary part. What is the End Game of Trump and the Republicans? To basically destroy this Democracy? What is it about Americans who think we should have a dictatorial form of government?

They are fortunately few in number, but where does that leave the rest of America? Will they stand by and allow their government to run rough shod over helpless individuals caught in the gears of a government machine that has gone crazy?

It all seems like some kind of Dystopian Sci Fi novel or movie where in the end no one wins and everyone is dead.

All we ever wanted was to live our lives in peace and be able to move about the country freely, without someone asking us to show our papers and do the things it takes to put food on the table, a roof over our head, and a bed to sleep in at night. A place to be cosy, and yet now we have some people threatening to over turn the tables on us and make all our lives miserable. That has to stop.

We need strong and fair minded leaders who will step up on the Democratic side and shout the truth about how Democracy works and what a President can and can not do. He can not simply cut off the Press. This man swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States, and yet so far he has ignored the premise of the Constitution. He thinks he is a King, and Why CAN'T THE FUCKING KING DO WHAT HE FUCKING WELL PLEASES??

We all know that next four years is going to be a struggle, but more so for us "Other" people. Those of us who are not white and not Christian. They do have plans for us and they will try and figure out how to implement those plans.

I have said it before, I am glad I live in California. We at least have a governor who will try and protect us from new laws and decrees that would in the end do us harm. Jerry Brown will protect us from the right wing crazies who have plans for us. So hopefully will the next governor, since we have a super majority of Democrats in this state.

But for the rest of my brothers and sisters scattered across this great country, I fear for their safety. My friends who own small businesses, what will happen to them when they are found not to be White enough, or Christian enough for the Right wing Republicans in charge of their state? Will they sow the seeds of hatred and mistrust? Will they make it the new normal to harbor hatred enough to start arresting people simply for being different? To closing their businesses down and removing licences simply because a family is not Christian enough?

We all hope History will not repeat itself and follow the path that Germany followed in the 1930's. It can't and it won't if we don't allow it. We still seem to have a voice, which is why I am happy to see so many protests popping up all over this country. Those are the people who stand with us, saying stop this crap before it goes too far. Stop it now and lets restore the unity.
