Milo and the bigger picture

I watched him on Maher yesterday and I think that Maher had him because he doesn't like speech silenced.

Fine, I understand that. I do think there limits, but how it is handled should be better. There is no need for a university to give Milo a reason to speak to begin with though. There is no intellectual offering from Milo. He doesn't even offer experience from a position to speak of.

I never heard of him before the last few months and never heard him speak more than a sound byte before his appearance on Real Time. The guy offers nothing. He's a troll and he's not an even a troll like Ann Coulter etc.

However, like the others he monetizes it. He profits from outrage.

A key point that Maher made was about liberals taking the bait. We should be outraged by what he and others say, but let's not enable him.

It's always easy to find that balance admittedly and the media doesn't help by their constant coverage of idiots like him, Coulter and so many others.

Maher took the bait by inviting this clown onto his show.

Milo hadn't run into issues speaking at campuses. You know that ramps up Maher.

I'm not justifying anything, just noting why I think he did it.

Milo is nothing but a fucked-up shit-thrower. Doesn't say anything good about Maher that Maher has such zero standards for his show.
