They offered Gov Kasich to be "the power" of the presidency, while he "Makes America Great Again."

He wanted the prestige and the ability to exploit the position for profit. He has no desire or intention to actually fulfill his obligations.

He was essentially giving up his freedom. It's a sacrifice. You sacrifice 4 or 8yrs of your life for the country. You give up your home and your ability to just be a citizen walking around the streets with coffee or stopping in any restaurant to have lunch.

I never thought he wanted that. I think he thought he'd never be faced with it, as like all of us, thought he was on track to lose.

Now we have an angry, caged animal leading the most powerful nation in the world.

He's a bloated old orange troll who seems to struggle to catch his breath at times. And we never did see any real medical records.

Trump is used to going and doing whatever he wants. I knew the White House would be seriously suffocating for a man like him. I don't think he ever wanted this and was prepared to lose, while pretending that the system was rigged, so he could say he really won. I don't think he'll ever adapt. I know we won't.

Quit. Take your ball and go home. Take great satisfaction in how you "really showed us". It will be really difficult for us. We may never recover. But you go ahead and do it, OK?

As the title says, to mourn for the honor, integrity and gravitas of the office of POTUS. Tomorrow is meant to honor the men who have given of themselves and taken on the burden of leading and protecting us and our country. While i will still memorialize these great men, i have to express my disgust and alarm at the permanent and irreparable damage Trump is causing to the office through his constant lying, cavalier attitude, and incessant whining and attacks on our media, courts and institutions. I know its the 23rd hour, but it would be great if we all wore black. Gotta keep resisting and calling attention to all the crazy thats going on already in this admin.
