Only Way GOP Can Do Better Than ACA Is MEDICARE FOR ALL. UNIVERSAL H.C. All Else Worse.

The GOP cannot do better than ACA except improve it or pass universal health care. Anything else they do will be a lot worse. ACA fixed a lot of problems from the way health care used to be. So far the proposals they are making screws a lot of people. And in the end the only people having proper health coverage will be the top 30%. Everyone else will be out in the cold.

They never intended to make it better. They just dont want Obama to get the credit and have to answer to their taskmasters in the medical and pharm lobbies. The latest ive heard they are gonna roll most of it back and replace it with tax credits and health savings accounts. Of course i believe even they dont know yet what they are gonna do. Just figure its gonna make alot of money for their "sponsors" and screw over those of us who dont have to pay a ton of taxes on our millions and dont have the money to put in savings accounts since we are working for a ridiculous unlivable minimum wage and thus hand to mouth. Should be interesting when that 3k saving account is supposed to pay for major surgery.

health care program should be to make it affordable to all with good coverage, and they would say that in order to do that, some income redistribution is ok, but the Republicans are going at this, putting themselves in an unnecessary ideological straight jacket. They are going to take a big hit for that when millions lose health care.

To the GOP, "better" means nothing more than a tax cut for them and their wealthy benefactors.

If you get a terrible illness or injury that costs thousands of dollars to treat, what will you do? Oh, forgot to mention; that in addition to a medical savings account, you will need to have a catastrophic illness insurance policy. This is the dead horse the Republicans have been kicking around for 30 years;.

Both the ACA and Medicare for All are universal (that is: both are available and required of all; or if you don't avail yourself of them, you get a penalty). Medicare for All would be additionally single-payer.
