I'm concerned that 45's treason won't be understood by

many people unless it is explained simply and clearly for them. I think his supporters will require his direct involvement or exercise of his authority in the treason to change their opinion of him. I think they'll see 45's declared attempts to bring peace to Ukraine as just that. They'll dismiss his involvement with Russian election interference as worthwhile because it kept HRC out of the WH. They won't care that he associates with mafia criminals and spies.

The people have ignored it so far, even if a few republicans in Congress have expressed concern. I think they must all turn on him to get people to open their eyes. As long as any of them put party before country, our nation rift will deepen and widen.

I'd love to hear of the error of my thinking right now.

I also worry about what his loyalists will do if he falls before they personally feel any negative effects of his presidency. I fear some will turn to violence and others will become more entrenched in conspiracy theories and hatred.

If Congress miraculously proceeds with impeachment, let alone if they obtain a conviction with Dem help, the deplorables and such will be apoplectic. It will not be pretty.

I believe what we are seeing parallels that more than Watergate. Most Americans were, "meh," money to Nicaragua, guns to Iran, whatever.

Lots of traitors there, including at the top, and it went nowhere considering how treasonous everything was. Said they couldn't pin it on the President, even though it was conducted in the WH.

We might even be facing a future where rw people claim to be a "Trump Republican" with pride.

because there was a theft of Democratic party materials (like Watergate) and there has been foreign intrigue (associated with at least 2 countries - Ukraine and Russia, like Iran and Nicaragua for Iran-Contra).

The case with Iran-Contra however, was the argument of a "shadow government", which descends into the depths of all kinds of CT.

But in contrast for this case, these fools seem to be operating out in the open and don't care because no one has the resources to sift through all the crap.

This morning the cashier at Walmart brought up Barbara Eden saying she doesn't bring up politics like Meryl Streep does, and how she was glad that nobody got political at the Grammys. I just 🤦?♂️
Grabbed my shit and left. This is what we're dealing with.

Congress has not passed a declaration of war on Russia and Congress has not passed a bill declaring. Russia an "enemy"

Let's just call it illegal activities. Makes it even easier for denial and resistance to persist.

11. A lot of us still say that Bill Clinton was impeached over a BJ
Mon Feb 20, 2017, 01:15 PM

When, in truth, we know that wasn't the case. He was impeached due to perjury.

We need to understand that, no matter how egregious the crimes Trump may have committed, his deplorables will point to liberalism and the Democratic Party as the sole reason for his demise. It's the only construct they can believe in after decades of brainwashing and propaganda.

I think it's vital that the narrative of Trump's imminent legal woes reads like a "Trump's Crimes for Dummies" book. This can't be allowed to be dismissed as mere partisanship. The onerousness of the offenses needs to be crystal clear.
