It looks like the GOP is working at using the police to shut down dissent with their onerous bills, which are not constitutional. I look for bug GOP backlash from their Congressional delegation. They are using every fake excuse in the book even that protesters are mentally ill much less paid.
Everything the GOP is now doing is driving the country toward chaos. And we are just beginning with Trump. Plus the GOP is Trump in that they are hiding treason and committing it themselves. THEY ARE OUTSIDE THE LAW NOW.
So it just feels like the country is descending into a deep political crisis as we move forward. As I said in so many way we have not yet seen the REAL MONSTER THAT IS THE GOP.
And I do fear the worst is yet to come. Trump & the GOP continues to incite their base. And I hope protests stays safe.

(601 posts)but we all know that anarchists and right-wing agent provocateurs will try to infiltrate protests to cause violence. We also know that law enforcement has infiltrated groups in the past -- during the civil rights movement, BLM and anti-war protests -- to create confusion and to sow violence and law-breaking.

So we have two choices, let them destroy the country, or dont.
