into playing pub trivia.

One of the questions was: What was the name of Hilter's Nazi Party?

To which my friend shouts out, "The GOP."

Entire bar erupts in laughter.

civil rights legislation. Shows profound ignorance of history (or extremely duplicitous attempts to deceive their supporters), but it plays well to their largely ignorant audience.

Why is it a pair of panties, but only a bra?
Why do we park on a driveway and drive on a parkway
Why isn't phonetic spelled the way it sounds?
Why do they call it a TV set when you only get one?

So when you say peacekeeper missile it just seems normal and we don't question it..

Glad you got a good reaction, Think there would have been many boos in our bar, but some laughs too, especially from the bar owner, an all around good guy.

started with scrambling and bouldering, then top roping. I never got much further than that. I've crossed a few glaciers and snowfields while backpacking with microspikes but never real ice work.

I had a distant relative who was quite an accomplished climber. Bob Kamps, perhaps you've heard of him.
