A note from an EPA staffer says that everything is shut down tight there. Nothing is being done. Everything is locked up. This is the plan. Dismantle the government by Executive Orders that prevent agencies from actually operating.

More to come, no doubt. We are being shut down by Trump's Putinista Cabal. The longer it goes on, the more difficult it will be to restart the work of government. The State Department, too, is being stifled. Nobody has been appointed to actual leadership positions, so those offices are empty. Ambassadors have resigned with nobody to take their places. The career diplomatic staff can do nothing without direction, so State is essentially shut down.
