There's pain in her face as she's forced by Rachael to admit the truth of the Trump and Republican criminal activities.

(6,551 posts)Andrea seemed more than willing to participate in the conversation. She said that the HS leaked report essentially demolished Trump's immigration ban. That was because the report's key finding was that extreme vetting is worthless.
That's because immigrants do not arrive in the US radicalized. Instead, she explained, that they become radicalized in the US.
And most importantly, the parents are not radicalized. Instead, it is THEIR CHILDREN who become radicalized.
So, Andrea briefly raised ideas about how to stop this from happening.
So, respectfully, there was no 'forced' to it. And she did not look pained. Instead, she seemed quite engaged in the conversation.

(6,551 posts)I've followed her career for years, going back to the 1980s. In those early years, she dealt with a lot of sexism, and perservered.
She is not reliably liberal and I've disagreed with some of her views. But I respect her reporting especially on foreign affairs.
