Schiff seems to always come across sounding calm and reasonable when on shows. Just saw him on MSNBC and he projects the right message but without sounding like he is partisan or whinning. Good to have him as the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee right now. California sounds lucky to have him represent them.

(38,505 posts)disqualify him to be a Republican. He's probably fair and compassionate, too. Yep. He's stuck being a Democrat.
at first I thought you thought he was a republican, sorry I am slow on the uptake. LOL Right on

(47,506 posts)I've seen him on TV several time this past week and I am very impressed with him. He comes across as very centered, rational, and competent. Though he shows genuine concern about what is happening, he does not sound political or hyperbolic. This is a good, decent man, we are fortunate to have him on our side.

And of course, we have Duncan Hunter Jr. (R-Pretending to be Dad to fool the Rubes)

I wish he did NOT need to do that but he seems a bit serious on the tele. In fact if he simply smiled a tad more that would be enough.
