They have been coming to jack your environment up for years and years and now they have the power to do it. I live in Illinois. I live ten miles from Lake Michigan. Minnesota and New York are Great Lakes states, too. Moreover, Dems tend to live near the water, like they do in Indiana, which is otherwise a red state. It's the people who don't live near them that don't give a shit.

So, please don't alienate the voters in these states who agree with you. I am just as pissed about what is happening as you.

I feel bad for everybody out there because what's going to happen is bullshit. The Republican platform has been trying to do this for years and now that they can, they are, completely without compunction. However, while I feel equally as bad for everybody I do have some real animosity for the people that have, and continue to vote for the people that are going to do this to them.

For you folks that saw it coming, you don't need to be welcomed to Flint. You knew it was coming and voted in a fashion that took the environment into consideration and the eventual outcome of voting for the bus driver that likes to frequent toxic waste dumps.

that 45 would cut funding to the great lakes cleanup would have changed a drumf voters mind about voting for him.

My feeling is that these things will add up over time. And, they will eventually learn that they've been conned.
