trump team issues cease and desist requests to Page in recent months:

The former Donald Trump campaign adviser who is reportedly being investigated over ties to Russia was brought into the Trump orbit last March by Sam Clovis, the co-chairman of Trump’s campaign who now serves as White House adviser for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Two Trump campaign officials confirmed the Clovis connection to The Daily Caller on Friday.

TheDC can also reveal that the Trump team issued a number of cease and desist requests to Page in recent months over concerns that he was misrepresenting his role on the campaign.

Page, the managing partner of Global Energy Capital, has been widely cited as a foreign policy adviser to Trump, the assumption being that he was in close touch with the Republican. But Trump and members of the administration have recently said that he does not recall ever meeting Page.

Seems to be confirmed, too.

Nearly a year ago, a local CBS News affiliate in Alabama ran an online story titled “Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions arranges meeting between Donald Trump, influential Republicans.”
The story went on to state that “The team of foreign policy advisers, led by Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, consists of counter-terrorism expert Walid Phares, energy consultant George Papadopoulos, former Defense Department inspector general Joe Schmitz, managing partner of Global Energy Capital Carter Page and former Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg.”

page can only be one of two things, the way I see it:

1) clinically insane....psychotic reality break resulting in suicidal compulsion to expose himself to terminal ridicule

2) under the gun to take the brunt of the whole horrorshow.....family threatened....who knows

make it three:

walter white situation....needs the money to support his family....he looks like he's in the first stage of polonium poisoning....we'll know for sure when he starts to look like a skinny Hulk

ever seen him, and I enjoyed his squirming and blinking and such...but here's what I don't get:

I thought he was making a personal appearance ON BEHALF of trumpco, right? He's going out and making nice nice with the "enemy", ie., the press, to show that nobody's hiding any Russia-connection-scandals, right? I mean, he wasn't even minimally SUCCESSFUL at doing that, but anyway...

I thought, and so did a few other posters last night, that the WH had suddenly "changed strategies" now that the drips have commenced, and to be cordial to the press and take some HEAT off trumpco...send some troops out glad handing, right?

SO, when I saw this article and it appears that trumpco doesn't LIKE this guy and they have ordered cease and desist restraints against him - well, I thought this was "news". plus oh yeah, and now I'm more confused than ever, because why would a guy who trumpco hates be out half-ass trying to "help" them?

I'll never post anything like this again, since (a) it's apparently from trumpco, ie., a big lie and (b) I am getting too lost too often in the quagmire that is our current...duhhhh..."situation"

And if you don't reply to this, please believe me, I get it!!!!!!!!

In between his evasiveness and claims of not wanting to breach confidentiality agreements, he seemed to confirm he was part of a committee of Trump foreign policy advisors and as such wrote a paper. He confirmed his frequent Russian activities of giving speeches and making connections there. My hunch is that his rabid anti-Clinton accusations are probably mainly intended to curry favor with Putin and other anti-Clinton Russians in order to facilitate some kind of Russian deals or stay in their good graces.

He seems like such a nutty loose cannon though, I don't know why anyone would want him for an advisor or business partner.

he's singing out to save his own ass

the more pub he gets, the less likely he is to get poloniumized

did you see the story about the russian activist who got poisoned TWICE, and the only reason he survived the second one is that his family recognized the same symptoms and got him treatment in time

they're talking about page right now on don lemon

calling him a hanger on

he knows a LOT about manafort, who's got to be ballsdeep in this. they even blackmailed his daughter

why do you think they fired him AFTER the frickin KGOP convention?

turn page, squeeze manafort, then go for the main prize

that's the way to do it
