Cons are attempting to portray Democratic questions about Session's interaction with Russian officials as outrage at the very fact of the meetings. By so doing, they ignore the reality that it is Session's flat-out lies (while under oath) about the very existence of those meetings which are being attacked.
And the media? They uncritically parrot tweets from the petty orange shitgibbon, pissing and moaning about well-publicized and widely reported meetings held by Democratic leaders with a variety of Russians. No mention is ever made of the fact that said Democrats have not perjured themselves about the fact that said meetings took place.

So the next time Trump calls for an end to "petty arguments", someone needs to hit him in the face with a pumpkin pie (that way it won't show).
