because he couldn't lay back in his chair and dictate to the panel about how wonderful his President is,he couldn't bring up Jimmy Carter did it,Bill and Hillary or Obama did it,he couldn't talk about his time in congress.

Mika wasn't there to back him up. When the camera panned to him you could see his anger of which I enjoyed sipping my coffee and cracking up.

Not surprised Joe seemed frustrated in not being able to shower praise for days over Trump's speech, considering that he had talked to Trump before the speech and probably thinks he influenced the performance. Joe recently said Trump has great qualities but Trump listens too much to advisors like Miller and Bannon who bring out Trump's worse qualities. And of course he spent most of show giving suggestions to Trump about how to turn things around
