Much better than what we had. I know this area like the back of my hand, but this is still great. Especially for our newbie relief lookout guys.

I love your beautiful pictures. I too love good maps...

It's so much easier to know where you are (or where the fire is) when you have great maps.

The best is yet to come. I'm heading down to the Sierra-Nevadas for a tutorial shoot in a couple of weeks.

With a Nikon 5300, then again my hands are small...full format, I struggle to get them buttons...

Next time I go to Vegas I'm digging out and scanning an old map of Los Angeles before the freeways were built.

I'll join each scan together into a single image. I'm thinking it'll require 50 or more individual scans. It's a standard fold out map.

It'll be worth the effort as it will preserve it for all time.
