Devin Nunes on Trump's "tapp" allegations: "A lot of the things he says, you guys take literally"

When pressed on whether he believed Trump's allegations, House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes -- one of Trump's strongest supporters in the House and a member of his transition team -- brushed aside the President's allegations.

"A lot of the things he says, you guys take literally," Nunes told reporters Tuesday. Nunes later hedged his comments and said that former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn may have been wiretapped and that Trump had raised "valid questions" about how his aides were listened in on.

Across the Capitol, Senate Intelligence Chairman Richard Burr, who is leading a concurrent investigation into Russia's interference, said he had not seen any evidence of Trump's claims.

"We're going to go anywhere there is intelligence or facts that send us," Burr told CNN. "So I'm not going to limit it one way or the other. But we don't have anything today that would send us in that direction, but that's not to say that we might not find something."

...if you can't believe what he says, that's only what...275 years of credibility down the tubes in a couple months.

wtf is with these asshats.

More and more I am convinced we've gotten to the point where we're getting drowned in Grover Norquest's metaphorical bathtub...and it's Steve Bannon's hands around our throats.

Not qualified to be assistant manager at a convenience store, so naturally his voters love him.

I said NOT qualified.

To be an assistant manager in any retail environment you cant be a childish little prick. You have to have skills that none of these GOP assholes have.

When a U.S. president speaks, his words are parsed endlessly, not only in America but throughout the world. When we can't take what he says "literally" where does that leave us?

i totally forgot that when the President of the United States says something I should say, "oh its just Don being Don, he's probably just punking us". Its a travesty that this man is in the same position as people like Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, FDR & JFK.
