The lights have gone out for Lady Liberty, or at least thats what it looked like Tuesday night.
Aside from the crown and torch, an EarthCam live stream showed Statue of Liberty standing in New York Harbor cloaked in darkness.
CBS2 has reached out to the National Parks Service, but so far theres no word on what caused the outage.

acting like nothing is wrong. She's packing in the dark. Tomorrow she will start a new life in a place where she can once again welcome the tempest tossed and celebrate freedom.
With Justin Trudeau.

...the returns to the gubmint will be used for a tax break for the rest of the .001%+ers who either failed to bid, or bid not enough.
I'm pretty sure that Lady Liberty can be dismantled, packed up for transport, and shipped to the highest bidder!
Imagine that...the Statue of Liberty transported to Putin's front porch!!
