What if our intelligence agencies already have everything to put him away?

I know this is a big "what if", but each successive leak seems to offer stronger evidence than the previous. What if our intelligence agencies already have enough to blow the lid off this scandal but are holding back for fear of starting a nationwide rebellion? I can see someone sitting there in Langley telling his impetuous underlings to control the flow of information for another few weeks. Wait until most of the stubborn tRumpers have lost enough faith that they don't pose a threat to national security. Because this is a far reaching scandal that will take down the GOP, and plenty of die hard repukes are going to be upset when tRump, Pence, Ryan, McConnell... are arrested and the new president is a Democrat.

Is this even a possibility, or am I having a misdirected surge of hope?

If all the damning info was released at once
there's great risk Trump or the Republicans
could have swept it under the rug. But now
they are suffering a death of a thousand cuts.
Sooner or later, the blood runs out.

I used to think that maybe they were trying to gather more intelligence on various allies so no one would escape. However, most of the leaks have been about his allies. You have to wonder, If they have that much intel on the allies, how much do they have on tRump himself?

Imagine you find someone dropped a jigsaw puzzle by the size of the road, and the pieces are all scattered. You pick up some to see if you can figure out what the picture is. You'd like to have the whole puzzle, but the person that threw it away didn't care about that. So, you collect what you can, and see if you can piece together any useful information. If you are missing a large number of pieces, maybe you never figure it out. If you have say 50%, maybe eventually it starts to resemble something.

Also, keep in mind the IC just puts the puzzle together. It would be up to Congress to do something about it, and right now, they don't seem interested. Kind of like if you acknowledged the puzzle, you would be admitting your crazy uncle Al was the one who littered with the puzzle in the first place. You don't really like your uncle Al, but you know if you send him to jail for littering (ask Arlo Guthrie about that) he'll cut you out of his will, and, crazy or not, he's loaded.

so that they can testify to the information they have.

They can't just implement a coup.

..but these things have to be done delicately... delicately....
Actually, they have to make sure it sticks and the whole country doesn't crash and burn. Imagine the back fighting as they decide who, when and how and who's going to clean up afterward.

The more the merrier. Also I believe they want to give Twitler the opportunity to resign rather than go through the impeachment process. Not sure but it makes me happy to think so.

I'm starting to believe that so many in the GOP are implicated that congress and the WH might be in huge trouble if intelligence acted now. I know this sounds like a pipe dream, but tRump + Pence + Ryan and a few other GOP senators could completely flip the government to the Democrats. If you think there is a constitutional crisis now, think about what the aforementioned situation would be like.

I assume they'll hold back until their case is air tight.
If they were to charge him and he manipulates his way out, he will be an unstoppable force.

Less optimistic than your ideas, though. Mostly thinking that if they do have some solid evidence to that extent, that they are worried that fallout that come from it would do more harm in the long run. It would have a huge effect on how people view our entire system. Even more than it has affected it so far. Then there are also the Cult of Trump people who are likely heavily armed and batshit insane. Such turmoil would benefit our adversaries greatly. A couple months ago I asked on here where do we go even if we had such evidence. What course of action could we take that wouldn't do great harm to the country?

Who knows? It would make for an interesting TV show if we didn't have live in it. I hope things are not as screwed up as they appear, and that Trump is just a shitty president who will lose most of his power to cause harm sooner than later. Then in two years we'll kick out most the conservatives, and in four years we'll hopefully have a good candidate who will become president and fix what damage Trump & Friends have caused.
