Quinnipiac has him at a 95% approval with republicans. Truly frightening and dangerous.

and the non-existent weapons of mass destruction they did not make public statements against G W Bush.

Republicans I know are avoiding the Trump issues-happy talking about other topic instead of praising Trum

I think there are a large number who are looking for a face-saving way to accept that he may have to go for the good of the country. The people I know might never admit he is a disaster-they just won't defend him, and won't get into conversations about him.
