I was wondering about that. When he was running for office (and lost), I was completely turned off by him and wondered what Democrats in Tennessee thought of him. Quite honestly, he came across more like a republican - humorless and insincere.

That is my problem with him. And that has become clearer to me as time has passed since he lost that election. I wanted him to win and was disappointed that he didn't, but I was never that wild about him and less so now.

Wotta phony...his conversation consists of reminding you that he used to be a congressman, he's a football fan, he's a weepy Conservative (he is just SO UPSET ---boohoo--- that he gets sold out all of da time by his own), he's a MAN, a HE-MAN pretending that he has a BIG DICK and that he's a TOUGHGUY...but "sensitive" to people's needs there of course, and that he can CURSE and think DIRTY THOUGHTS about WIMMEN, but he won't say them out loud for fear of the
"PC CROWD".

I like the basic format and they have a lot of interesting guests, but Joe seems to think it is a three hour monologue. Somehow he always manages to turn every discussion into something about HIM. Oh gee, did you know he used to be a congressman??? I think I know all his little personal "Joe Stories" verbatim.

I wonder what some of his regular guests say about him in private.

"How many times has he told that story about his dad driving by the closed steel mill? Blah, blah, blah!"

They have to act like they're interested in what he says, because if you get on the bad side of Joe, he'll get you banned from MSNBC. Markos Moulitsas said it was Scarborough who got him banned and I wonder if he influenced the decision to fire David Shuster.

Wasn't there some kind of controversy over something he said about Chelsea Clinton?

Oh, yes, he asked whether Chelsea Clinton had been “pimped out” during her mother’s presidential campaign.

it was later that he got suspended indefinitely for doing a demo tape for CNN. They may have been looking for a reason to get rid of him. He had gotten into it with Scarborough once and its the only time I ever saw anyone tell Joe off.

It was back during the primaries that he'd said something about the Clinton campaign "pimping out Chelsea" and he was suspended for a week or two.

as he attempted to push people for kingship in the GOP. Those included having his lips hermetically sealed to Trump's butt and his constant gushing over Jamie Dimon as presidential financial wizard. He's had a couple of other colossal losers he's focused on also who have burned out over the horizon. Joe knows how to pick 'em.

I preferred the positive vibes from Bill Press and Stef Miller. Scar absolutely turns my stomach, the way he treats Mika. She has to know what she puts up with from him is just like spousal abuse. Makes me wonder about his home life. But first thing in the morning I prefer not to start my day with a sick stomach.
