Why so much secrecy with the Russians?

Why would Trump surrogates lie to prevent knowledge of their meetings
with Russian officials? Does the secrecy mean they are trying to hide something?

Republicans used to lecture Democrats about opening up to the authorities, if you don't have anything to hide? Now, they are all acting like Russian spies??

There is one question I would like answered. I think it would shine a lot of light on the secret meetings with the Russians. When the Russian ambassador slipped into the Trump Tower to speak with General Michael Flynn and Jared Kushner, what did they talk about?? If we knew that, we would have a better understanding of the entire scandal.

Flynn, Page, Manafort lie because they were the primary Trump agents coordinating the collusion with Russia to steal the election.

Sessions lies because his role was to be to quash any DOJ investigation. This is why Trump et al were so pissed when he recused.

Also, it is easier (until caught) to lie and deny that a meeting occurred than to try and explain that the meeting was innocent.

doing illegal underhanded transaction. Something that by all rights they should be brought up on charges, at the very least a serious no partisan investigation began immediately. They're just kicking the can further on down the road hoping against hope that something will happen to absolve them of this.

We the people need to stay on this like a chicken on a june bug, chasing it until the bug is caught.

the accusations of being under surveillance mt well be true but I think that the confusion regarding the answers we've heard from intel is that it's not about treason or election rigging, which is a hard case to bring at any point. I think there's a RICO investigation, which is why so many are monitired, and a wider net under which to catch more perps. It's like the mob being taken down by the RICO laws because it's an easier case to bring. If that's the case, I suspect it was under way long before the election and still in progress. All the scrambling to cover their patooties will further solidify who is conspiring with whom.

what did we here from the right? Just do what the authorities tell you!

This was a nice follow up from them (specifically about people of color ) on the old - If you've got nothing to hide, you've got nothing to worry about.
