Morning Joe after ACA is upheld. Interesting SCOTUS projections!

Hey all, Joe is pitching Robert's decision as a "long game" strategy and that 20 years from now, Conservatives are going to be very happy that Robert's will have been on the bench during that duration.

For at least a year now I have heard the buzz that the Robert's court is like to overturn much more legislation. What else is going to be on the chopping bloc in the foreseeable future?

Joe even made several reference to Roe v Wade, implying that O'Connor and Kennedy defied their party's intent, but he said it in a way that actually gave me the impression that the Robert's court was eventually going to go after it.

They can assume he will be there for another 20 years, but remember he has already had two seizures

That I am absolutely certain of, Abigail Fisher's case is headed to the Supreme Court next year and Robert's set precedent "The way to stop discrimination on the basis of race is to stop discriminating on the basis of race," wrote John Roberts, the chief justice of the Supreme Court, in a 2007 decision striking down school desegregation programs in Seattle and Kentucky.

Not likely. He may not even be taking epilepsy medication.

until we have a change on the court.

I don't think there is any doubt they would overturn Roe if they had the chance, that is why nobody is giving them the chance.

I sincerely hope that as the opportunity continues to arise, that President Obama keeps appointing women to the bench. Should the "conservatives" on the bench continue to out number the moderates, at least they will have to look their female colleagues in the eye when they attempt to take away their rights.

opinion, Roberts actually affirms the Commerce Clause reasoning on a host of other laws in order to make his case in this one.
