I can spend about ten minutes lost in the miasma of MSM I find googling before feeling the need to return to good old DU.

And sometimes CNN is good. Sometimes.

I'm beginning to lose hope this Russia business will come out and Trump will be prosecuted. I just don't trust any Republicans to the job at hand.

I'm having a down day I guess.

Even the new Diane Rehm replacement show 1A is erratic - sometimes going where they need to go, other times I want to punch the radio to wake them up!

I've not heard 1A but The Takeaway was a big step down imho.

I do love This American Life, The Moth and our local programming very much.

NPR, as radio, is as good at it gets - but since we don't watch TV, I really depend most upon print and web media, particularly TPM and Slate - and of course DU is a great one stop shop.
