first month, the economy added 235,000 "
This is the reason on November 9, 2016, I downgraded my Satellite service so I no longer receive CNN, MSNBC, fox or CNBC
The media made a shame out of the election coverage throughout 2016, but it was their LIE regarding the Comey's letter to congress 11 days before the election, that shifted things.
MSNBC was the first to report that the FBI email investigation had been reopened. THAT WAS A LIE. MSNBC then proceed to parade every right wing politician across their screen to reinforce that LIE. Within an hour or so the other networks joined suit with the same distorted lie.
I could go on with what they did that last week leading up to the election, but most of us already know what happened

(42,014 posts)I hate feeling manipulated, and reading helps me research what's actually going on. The "news" is too bombastic, the screens too busy, the delivery rising in hysterical pitch. Extremely annoying.

(2,945 posts)If they gave Obama credit for this report - they would be saying 95,000,000 out of work force and not looking for work!

(54 posts)By their logic, President Obama, after one month, would have been projected to lose 72 million jobs over 10 years. Like everything will stay exactly the same for 10 years.
That might be one of the dumbest headlines I've seen in awhile.

(24,461 posts)The GOP and their friends in corporate media are SO painfully DESPERATE for one, just ONE legacy-worthy modern Republican administration after the failures of Reagan and the two Bushes. I still remember how the media up until early 2008 tried so hard to fluff Dubya until it just became an exercise in futility to do so.
