Trump wants to get rid of the Peace Corps

what a fucking piece of shit...I am assuming the only two reasons he wants to do is that when folks live overseas they get a very different world view from his myopic gilded cage and the other reason is that it was started by a Kennedy some one far more beloved than him!!!

It's not even a rounding error on the $4T US Budget. Drumpf is going to spend more than that on travel to Mar-a-Lago this year!

I know a few people that did their turn in the PeaceCorp when they were young. They continue to hold it as one of the most valuable experiences in their lives.

Sargent Shriver does not get enough credit. Probably because he was always the man behind some man or some idea.

by dumping the peace Corps and the UN and other international relations that we have had is to purposely destroy our ties with our allies? If he destroys our relations then we will no longer have anyone to watch dog us and come to the peoples rescue. I truly think at some time we as US citizens are not going to be allowed to leave this country. If we left we might. If we left we might be talking to those who used to be our allies and looking for help ( he can't have that. )

This president is so anti-American, I can't believe he still has so many true believers! We should be pushing this point more, since Trumpies like to wave the flag so much.
