'We're Hearing the Beginning of a Walkback': CNNs Jeff Zeleny on Trump's Wiretap Claims

by Justin Baragona | 2:35 pm, March 13th, 2017

Following today’s White House press briefing where White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer was relentlessly grilled on today’s Congressional deadline to the Department of Justice to provide evidence of President Donald Trump’s wiretap claims, CNN’s Jeff Zeleny stated that it appears the White House is preparing to backtrack on the explosive assertions.

After host Brooke Baldwin played a clip of Spicer’s responses today, which included him providing one explanation that Trump used “wiretap” in quotes in one tweet, Zeleny gave the following observation.

“I think we’re hearing the beginning of a walkback from this administration on that explosive tweet from the Saturday before last,” he told Baldwin. “We heard Sean Spicer say new things today, particularly that the president did not personally mean that president wiretapped.”

After recapping some of what Spicer said in the briefing, Zeleny reiterated his belief that the administration is laying the groundwork to take back the president’s comments.

Most of his cult have already internalized the message that BHO put Trump under surveillance and there will be no letting go of it. Without a bad guy, Trump is just an empty suit.

Such an asshat.

Just quote whatever stupid shit falls out the Trump administration on any given day and put the worst possible gloss on it. Billboard it with 24-7 coverage, and force Spicer, Conway and the rest of that odious bunch to explain in detail why President Trump isn't really a goat-fucker. Then call him a goat-fucker again.

There's only two options that fit. Either:

A). We have a thin skinned narcissist as President who found evidence of FISA surveillance after he came into office and he's blasting that info out because he took it as a personal slam....even though a FISA surveillance would only have been ordered if there were national security issues at hand (oh like the Russians influencing an election)

Or

B). We have a thin skinned narcissist as President who is a fucking pathological liar.

So, going forward....can we trust that this President will not blast national security secrets all over Twitter whenever he gets pissed?? Can we trust him when they claim that Iran has broken its part of the nuclear agreement and we need to strike back???? Those are exactly the type of extremely fucked up questions that we have to deal with now as a country because a thin skinned narcissistic MORON was elected President.

Along with others, CNN is saying there were no media reports on the Obama Administration eavesdropping.
