Canada has taken in a lot of refugees and have their share of non-white immigrants.

Shit, I'd be scared to take the risk too. If they were lucky, they'd get stopped at the border. Given the obvious vindictiveness of ICE the last few weeks, I'd be afraid they kids would be let in, then swept up and detained.
