begging me to come back. They all say the sub is horrid and they are not learning anything.
They know I have been seriously ill but want me to come back soon.

it warms my heart a little bit.
I haven't replied yet. Not sure if it is appropriate or not but I think it is warming my heart to get these kinds of messages.
I am scheduled to return to work March 27 and I am nervous as all get out. My principal has demanded a sit down with me "about the day I left" *remember that whole poopy pants ordeal*
My union guys are trying to find alternate placement because he is sure I would be treated like crap if I go back. I miss my students deeply but not sure if I am ready to go back to that pressure cooker!
Pray hard for me please

(17,984 posts)Don't email back to individuals. If you have some way (like facebook) to make a statement of thanks to everyone, then that is the safe route. Leave it as simple as possible. Don't try to explain anything. Don't mention anyone's name. Don't give any particulars. Simply, "Thank you for all your support!" will do. Let's them know you got their messages.
