Oh, I have some bread, too. But the sheriff's closing the roads at 3, per local report, so I can't send you any til tomorrow.

But I have to say that in January my husband and I were in NY and a horrible snow/ice storm was predicted
to hit just as we were getting home. From NY I called a friend here and asked her to pick up milk and a couple of other things--including
TP!--and we'd stop by her house on the way home from the airport to get the items.

Well, we barely made it back. Our plane was on time. We were able to pick up the dog from the pet resort 20 minutes
before it closed; stop by the friend's house and get the supplies. It was sleeting by the time we got home.

Five days later we were able to get the car out of the garage and up our steep driveway. It was awful. Frozen snow
that didn't melt.

Fortunately, we had a few bottles of wine in the closet and plenty of food in the freezer and we didn't lose power.

As long as we have power during a storm, we do ok.
