People who believe in any kind of religion or god is dropping like a rock here. Even something like 30% of those who identify as being catholic or protestant also say they don't believe in a God. I think 45% is getting closer to the truth. Not that it's a big deal. It's a Facebook Graphic.

(14,549 posts)6. I think one can be spiritual without belonging to an organized religion
and, to me, atheist is something else. Not many of these surveys include "atheist" as one of the choices so I think that these numbers that get cited are deduced by people who want to cite a big number of scary atheists when in fact most people are very live-and-let-live on issues of spirituality and religion these days.
But indeed it is just a fun Facebook graphic and I should lighten up.

Well, I still laugh.
1. They never do it anyway, or don't really try
2. They assume a sameness of Canada, it's just like the US just north of it.
3. They assume Canada wants them.
By this time Canada would be overrun by Americans.
