"Tax ReturnS" and no mention of just the 2-page Form 1040. And then took forever to actually say that, after a 15-minute history lesson about Watergate.

As someone mentions below, it was reminiscent of Geraldo Rivera's "Capone" vault fiasco.

she certainly intended for us to infer that it was a bombshell. She didn't advertise this as a minor revelation on a typical show. This was sold as a bombshell; it turned out to be a dud (in the sense that it didn't live up to the hype).

to O'Donnell that she believes more taxes will be revealed. I think it was a great ending - telling people to send any info to her.

More than 70% of the people want to see Trump's tax returns and Rachael is making this a big subject. She is continuing on Lawrence O'Donnells show - and is great. Talking about Russian who paid Donald double for a house in Florida - need to see taxes to see what the deal is - etc.

it will have been a dud. But, it's not as if Trump didn't have other options to send the return to.
Rachel used the return to promote a show on Trump's secret money ties to foreign governments and agents. The tax return was used as a stand in for the real complete returns that might explain Trump's strange support for Putin and opposition to NATO.

will turn out to be a brilliant journalistic judo move and is not remotely analogous to Capone's vault.

If Trump himself leaked this information, he made an astounding blunder as it served to raise more questions than it answers. We did learn several things from a mere two pages. But more importantly, it raised awareness that this is but the tip of a massive iceberg.

"Don't play what's there, play what's not there." ~ Miles Davis

Rachel played what wasn't there like a stradivarius, particularly since she has maintained a reputation as a journalist who doesn't report wild speculation as if it were fact.

when we see it. Better to be talking about health care or Russia. If she had the supporting schedules that might have actually shown something it would have been different. As it is, Trump has bragged forever about paying no taxes so those 2 pages from 2005 are suspect because it shows he paid taxes. And tax day is a month away. When asked for his 2016 taxes he'll divert to the 2005 taxes that are supposedly now public.
