Why don't we all idiotically repeat the right wing talking points on the 2005 tax returns?

Good lord, what the fuck did you expect? A leaked copy of any president's tax returns is big news What the hell did you expect from one form of thousands of pages?

when he sold a POS mansion in Palm Beach that he'd paid 40 million for to a Russian for 100 million, only to have it torn down and the estate it sat on subdivided. The whole thing is shady as hell and even Palm Beach realtors, who are used to weird things done by billionaires, call it "extremely odd, even for Palm Beach."

The mansion: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maison_de_L%27Amitie

The charmer who bought it and hid it in his divorce: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dmitry_Rybolovlev Please note this is not a simple businessman specializing in fertilizer, he's got his fingers in a lot of dodgy pies worldwide. He also skated on a murder conspiracy charge, thanks to the politically connected rich guy's "get out of jail free" card.

Oh, yeah, there's a reason they went 11 years back to find a return that only showed a fat cat chiseling every dime off his taxes that a roomful of CPAs and lawyers could find. Any later than that, you start to find a few connections here and there.

and sold it in 2010, I believe. The dates are important because the FL real estate market was down in 2010. 2006 was the peak of the bubble.

It gets really hazy because it was one of the assets the Fertilizer King hid from his STBX wife.
