he could have fully divested himself of all his businesses. this would have made his family more free to cash in while enhancing his reputation and power.

but no, he's gotta have his own greedy little fingers in the pie.

He has developed no demonstrable talent to justify his fame, and at some level he must always be aware of that. It's far too late for him to begin learning how to understand and do things, so what we will see is an uninterrupted stream of excuses and attempts to claim credit for others' work.

He is an expensive luxury, and always has been.

People impressed by wealth and glitz love, love, love seeing a Trump or a Kardadhian on TV. Just knowing that these celebrities exist seems to do something for a large segment of the population. Probably crystallizes their own dreams of plenty, so when they accuse liberals of merely being jealous of these paradites, there's a certain amount of projection involved.

The wealth-suckers prey on that weakness. We all pay the price for their luxury.

Everything he "has" is about his ego. Power, money, women, big buildings, etc. They are all about his ego. He is a weak pathetic little man who desperately needs to prove to others that he the best, the brightest, the richest - the list goes on. It can never be enough to fill the whole.

He is dead inside spiritually.

Easy answer is "nothing". But he's definitely wired differently from most sentient human beings.

"Compassion" is definitely not in his lexicon.

"Asshole", however, is definitely in mine.
