One Direction: Trump 'kicked us out of his hotel' for refusing to meet his daughter
A member of One Direction claims President Trump once booted the band from his New York City hotel after they refused to get out of bed to meet his daughter.
“Trump actually kicked us out of his hotel once,” singer Liam Payne says in an interview with the United Kingdom magazine Rollacoaster.
“You wouldn’t believe it. It was about [meeting] his daughter,” the 23-year-old former boybander said of the president, who owns the luxury Trump International Hotel & Tower in Manhattan.
Payne was possibly referring to 23-year-old Tiffany Trump, the younger of the president's two daughters. Trump, a law school student, recorded a pop song in 2011.
