Well...maybe if Putin has them figure out a way to rig it so they will never lose.

Comrade Republicans intend to destroy the fabric of this country and permanently cripple us. The jig is up so they are just going to straight up do whatever the hell they planned to do all along.

It also means they feel maybe if they change enough things at the time of the vote, it could make passing it more possible.

It's clear this is a bad bill. It's going to die in the Senate - if it makes there at all.

that is used to a process by which legislation is "fast tracked" in the House by moving it through the Rules Committee in one day rather than requiring the bill to sit for a day.

While the repubs seem to have grown particularly fond of it, it also was used on occasion by the Democrats when they controlled the House.

It does not mean Congress has declared a national state of martial law or anything like that.
