Today we'll all learn something about the state of our political system. If this passes, so will everything else. $2.8 billion in tax cuts for the top 400 U.S. households, the "big, beautiful wall," Social Security on the chopping block, all of it.
If it doesn't, that's another story.

(14,400 posts)it also has to pass the Senate and if they're having this much trouble in the house it's probably not going to happen.
In that case it's just one more tally mark added on to all the other repeal bills.

(18,837 posts)I'd just like to see Ryan taken out of the equation for a while. I want him to walk away discouraged today, although I know he won't. He'll keep re-writing this, trying to get it under the radar, as long as he is in office.
