In an attempt to get votes from the far right in Congress,

they're stripping out all of the mandatory insurance coverage for most services from the bill. The result is "Nonsurance" masquerading as health insurance. And they're doing this behind closed doors and planning to have a vote on a bill the House members have not even seen. Nor will the amended bill have been through the CBO process.

This needs to fail in the House. If it passes, the Senate needs to laugh at it and not vote on it at all. What the Republicans are creating is a hollow shell of health insurance under the guise of coverage.

But, then, the Republicans ARE shells of apparent human beings. There's nothing inside there but avarice and deception.

you'll be able afford real Health Insurance. The "Nonsurance" is for the lazy slackers. They'll still have to pay for their "Nonsurance", but it won't do any good for them if they actually need medical services. That way, the insurance companies can keep the prices down for those who pay for the real thing.

It all makes sense, you see. The vast pool of the poor will pay for the healthcare of the well off. Perfect!

I could be one, by the way, when I get older. I didnt want to work until I was 85 years old, with these guys I will have no choice.

If the mandatory insurance coverage provisions are stripped, they'll vote in favor.

Hope that's not the case.

allow them to pass it without Democratic involvement. Last I heard, they were trying to get the Koch caucus to agree to allow the senate to attempt to strip the ACA's mandatory "essential coverages" after it passes the house.

Kochs/the kochtopus with over 700 megamillionaires and billionaires, AND the Spencers now also, of course intend to destroy all government programs. Their reps in congress want a first stage that does critically serious damage.
