A New Hampshire Tea Party head has said that he hopes the majority justices in the Supreme Courts ruling on the Affordable Care Act get get colon cancer, according to the Merrimack Patch. Mike Malzone, founder of the Merrimack, New Hampshire Tea Party joined the ranks of conservatives who are heaping opprobrium upon the heads of the Supreme Court, who upheld the bulk of the Affordable Care Act, President Barack Obamas signature piece of domestic legislation as constitutional on Thursday.
Conservatives have exhibited a veritable rainbow of bad reactions to Thursdays announcement. Former Fox News personality Glenn Beck has taken to selling Chief Justice John Roberts T-shirts that say Coward on his website ($30 plus shipping and handling). Matt Drudge and others have been blaming the ruling on Robertss epilepsy medication, although presumably his ruling on Citizens United was not affected by the same factors.
Merrimack, New Hampshire libertarian and Tea Party president Mike Malzone has gone further than others in his outrage, declaring in a Facebook post on the Merrimack Tea Party page, I hope the (5 supremes) get colon cancer.
When the post was met with outrage, Malzone backtracked a day later, while waxing lachrymose.

(67,112 posts)countries would have closed down by now bastions of hatred, such as Glenn Beck, Fox News and the like as dangerous. I frankly think they pose a risk to this country.
I believe in free speech, all of that, but these people/organizations are liars spreading falsehood and lies. When do they eventually cross the line into un-American behavior. IMO they are trying to create significant civil unrest.

(12,461 posts)and insulting. People who have a loved one with colon cancer, would never ever wish this onto anyone else. Unbelievably heartless.
Are these words of someone with a rational mind? The Rhetoric since the ruling, just unbelievable.
I would hate to think if the ruling went the other way. Would we see posts on DU wishing Cancer on any human being. Would we been just as guilty?
This is the power of propaganda. Instead of concentrating on the problems this country is facing. We are screaming shit like this to one another. Meanwhile, the 1% rigs the system.
