How are we ever going to get a legitimate investigation going if all the avenues to

law enforcement are in the hands of republicans? They have proven that they cannot be trusted time and time again. They only care about power and money. There are no republicans who are willing to stand by their oath of office and to their country. They just don't exist. Even our erstwhile law enforcement agency, the FBI, is suspected of conspiring with the Russians to keep Hillary Clinton of of the White House.

If director Comrade Comey can't be be trusted, and it sure seems he can't by his own admission and actions, what hope do we Americans of any political persuasion have? This whole thing seems to me to be of the gravest threat, and our elected officials act like it's just everyday business. This is fast becoming worse than Nero fiddling while Rome burns.

As our nation weakens and becomes more devisive we open ourselves to internal and external threats of varying degrees. When significant majorities of the population distrust their government, believe that their government is illegitimate, and that their president may well be compromised by a foreign power how can any action on the part of that government stand scrutiny and be seen as valid?

Is there anyone out their in government anymore who cares about his/her country more than they care about money, power or fame? Is there anyone who will stand up and say "no more, it's time to do the right thing for the nation, for our families, for our future as the exemplar for all other nations".

How can we be seen as anything but a dangerous joke anymore?
