How much of Defunding PBS have to do with advancing Christian Hate?

To put it another way, PBS gets defunded, the weaker PBS affiliates become so difficult to keep afloat financially they get sold to you know who, Christian broadcasting.

I've seen this happen first hand on radio. We have a public broadcasting Indie/alternative rock station in Kentucky that a local university owns. Gov. Matt Bevin cut funding for colleges and universities making stations like this an economic liability for the university. The station was put up for sale and an entity called the Bible Broadcasting Corporation quickly bought it.

It is just one radio station, but how often will this scenario be played out around the country.

1. A lot of it stems from a belief that PBS pushes liberal ideas.

Most of the people who believe that don't watch PBS so they don't realize the quality of the programming whether it be the educational shows for children, the news and documentaries or the entertainment that won't be broadcast on commercial networks.

They think promoting diversity makes our country vulnerable to terrorism. Including kids with disabilities makes America weaker and more socialist.

....Fox's Steve Doocy or Doofy went on a rant about Mister Rogers, about his message of liking you just the way you are. Typical crap. I hope the Dems can stop this.

Someday the historians will tie the counter-progressive success to the normalization of the biased news outlets that made lying and distortion acceptable.

Not to say that the loss of non-commercial news isn't tragic for those interested in unbiased facts. But I think NPR listeners and Christian Broadcast listeners are made up of entirely different DNA.

On cbs every morning for an hour in a major market.

I'd rather see reruns of The Gong Show STNG.

Why should those poor coal miners be forced to subsidize that six hour documentary I recently watched about African civilizations?

Also, anything that isn't Fox News is liberally biased.
