"We are so sorry that we did not do our jobs before, which is why we are in this mess" should be

at the top of every single article, at the beginning of every single report online, on the air, each and every time some member of the legitimate press now goes after the orange madman. Because, if they had done their damned jobs during the campaign, we would not be in this mess.

so, while I am grateful that they are finally waking up and doing some actual reporting, the fact is, too damned little, too damned late, to do us much good.

oh, and they should also add, "and remember, he LOST the popular vote by THREE MILLION"

I've learned to be skeptical of all media, "mainstream" and non-mainstream. We all are gonna have to pull our weight to reason things through.

Here is Trump golfing (never mentioning there's usually a crook on either side of him)

Here is Trump with a family member (gliding over their new desk and top security clearance)

Here is a Trump advisor (selling a Trump product)

Here is Trump at Trump Tower, the Trump winter White House, a Trump hotel, eating Trump steaks
wearing a Trump tie and a Trump hat

Here is Trump saying he has nothing to do with Russia (in a room full of advisors, the majority of
whom have something to do with Russia)

The press has to gag down a lot before they wonder out loud about Trump's next policy move or
trip abroad or whether or not he can get his favorable numbers up in the next set of polls

NONE of this is normal, not one iota of it even borders on regular.
