They are not going to reveal publicly what they are doing. Furthermore, they have to collect enough evidence to support indictments and eventual prosecution, and that takes time. Remember, a criminal prosecution requires proof beyond a reasonable doubt, and no law enforcement agency will go forward with any evidence less than that, especially if they are looking at major players.

I think this whole thing is going to turn out to be very complicated and involve a lot of people. The underlying crimes are likely to be financial, like money laundering, tax evasion and racketeering, and the later shenanigans were intended to cover them up. And now there seems to be a coverup of a coverup. The financial aspects will be difficult and time-consuming to unravel - the FBI has agents who are called forensic accountants and whose function is to pick apart financial transactions to figure out what they really are. Further complicating the matter is that some of the players are foreign individuals and entities. It won't be sorted any time soon.

You can't just arrest people because you "know" something. You have to have actual direct evidence, and no Adam Schiff saying he's seen more than circumstantial evidence doesn't count. After all Trump at one point had a "very credible source" that Obama's birth certificate was fake.

Actual evidence of actual crimes.

Indeed, you are right, you don't get it. They don't broadcast what they are doing or they would be ineffectual. They are acting and you are not paying close enough attention, or you would see the signs. Why do you suppose the WH had to order document retention? Why is there a FISA warrant? Why did Comey say Trump associates are targets?

This is huge. The biggest constitutional crisis in our history is unfolding. But, you don't get it. do you? Right.

They're just cops. I wouldn't assume that they have any interest in going after Trump on their own.

He might just as well have held up a sign that read, "Hey! FBI! Don't forget to include me!"
