Yeah, yeah, we know. He was brought back to lead the battle against oxycodone and the drug epidemic. But, wasn't it reported yesterday that Jared Kushner was going to get that assignment? Is it just too much for Jared to handle?
With this White House, nothing is as it seems. After all, we had read that Jared did not want Christie in the Administration because he had sent his father to prison? What changed? Donald decided to bring back the old prosecutor.
If we might wander off into wild theories, is it possible that Donald has another more important position in mind for Donald? What could he do with his prosecutorial experience? God knows he needs someone to replace the incompetent and rude spokesman, Sean Spicer. But, Christie would not fit into that job. So there must be something else he could do?
What happens if Jeff Sessions resigns? Does Donald get to pick another Attorney-General? It would be to his advantage to have an Atty-General that had not recused himself from the Russian issue. How about an old prosecutor? Christie would not be hindered by any Russian connections, as far as we know? He could protect Donald's legal interests much better than Jeff Sessions. Would the sick and demented Donald ever do something like that?

(23,337 posts)To screw with him. The video of him tonight on Rachel and Lawrence was embarrassing. He looked like a lost, hopeful puppy. Pathetic.
