CBS: "FBI investigation is nowhere near over."

CBS News has learned that U.S. investigators are looking into whether Trump campaign representatives had a role in helping Russian intelligence as it carried out cyberattacks on the Democratic National Committee and other political targets in March 2016.

This new information suggests that the FBI is going back further than originally reported to determine the extent of possible coordination. Sources say investigators are probing whether an individual or individuals connected to the campaign intentionally or unwittingly helped the Russians breach Democratic Party targets.

In March 2016, both Mr. Trump and Hillary Clinton had emerged as their parties’ most likely nominees. According to a declassified intelligence assessment, it was in March when Russian hackers “began cyber operations aimed at the U.S. election.” In May, U.S. officials say the Russians had stolen “large volumes of data from the DNC.”

Now, one year after the Russian operation began, sources say the FBI’s investigation is nowhere near over. It involves dozens of agents in Washington, New York and London. The NSA and CIA are also gathering intelligence from inside Russia.

If they come out with this in a couple of years, it will not do anyone any good.

And this story that they let him be elected rather than end a long standing investigation of the Russian mafia better not be true.

Nonexistent, witnesses will be dead or brain-damaged, the servers hosting the stored, dissemminated information will be fried. The millenials will have been bought off and won't care about Democracy until one of them decides to run against the trump monarchs after the US oligarchs rewrite the constitution.

place. The other side wants to so corrupt the government with the perpetrators of the coup that the coup can be effectively covered up.

And my great fear is that on our side, there is no powerful player to push things along. Yes, Schiff has emerged as an important voice, but his hands are tied and all he can do is talk about what they are doing. He can't stop them from doing it. Same with Rachel. There is no unifying personality that is galvanizing people on our side.

If that person should emerge, they will be our next FDR.

because he couldn't work for this administration. We need patriots to stay, keep an eye on things, and speak up when they see wrong-doing.

10. Penalty for treason "shall be imprisoned not less than five years"

"Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and..."

18 U.S. Code Section 2381
https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2381

We need to start pushing for this minimum penalty for all who are guilty of treason.
But, timing will be tricky because we sure don't want President Trump to pardon anyone, or President Pence, or President Ryan... like Bush pardoned the criminal Scooter Libby.

Too tired to provide anymore substantial input. I just felt like throwing a tantrum over how tired I am of all of this shit. When I think about the possibility of this all not being resolved for years or maybe even ever, it makes me sick.

It will be a looooonnnnggg time before any decisions are made to act.
Trump has lots and lots of time to do more damage to the country before he gets taken out.

And of course after that we will have Pence, a much more saavy and capable politician, to do even more damage at a faster pace.

This is not going to be nearly as satisfying as it should be.
