I wonder how many realize how important his program was. His interviews were more in-depth than someone like Carson. I love the ones from the late 60s and early 70s. I get the feeling that some of his guests from the early Hollywood days were giving what would be their last interviews. Almost as cool as the I've Got a Secret episode from the late '50s with the guy that was in Ford Theater when Lincoln was shot.
