Will the GOP wait for the 2020 census before they try for a constitution convention or

will they go for broke and push for it this summer. July 4th would fit their meme.

They are very close to the required number of GOP states with a Governor or state legislature.

Also they like to practice and then retool their soft spots.

I think they will stay on the low down until they have the total needed. No need to wake up any who are unaware of their plans for con con

Around here the push is to do away from dual houses of Congress go to a single house with 2 seat per state. 1 elected and 1 appointed by the state.

if they call a constitutional convention to pass an amendment banning abortion and/or gay marriage, it will inspire the religious fundies to turn out in support of the GOP so they can flip more states to red. Unfortunately, while these are important issues for Democrats, I don't think it's that huge of a turnout issue for Democrats as it is for Republican fundies.
