BAGHDAD (The Borowitz Report)Jared Kushner said on Tuesday that he became incredibly well-informed on the Middle East by reading up on the region while waiting for the ski lift on a recent trip to Aspen.
There would be times when youd have to wait five or even ten minutes for the ski lift, and thats when Id take out my phone and read up on the Middle East, he said. I really got into it.
Kushner said that the Middle East was a truly fascinating region because of all the countries that they have there.
There is Israel, and Egypt, but there is also Yemen and places like that, he said. Sometimes I would start learning about a new country, but then the ski lift would come.

(34,136 posts)As a beginning to learning about the region. He's read a lot of much more in depth books since but we still have the Dummies book on the shelf.
Maybe we should buy the newest edition and send it to Jared?

Problem is, they haven't updated it since January 2003.

(34,136 posts)He just likes to understand current events. While he complains about being dyslexic and slow to read, he reads a lot and retains most of what he reads with a very thorough understanding.
And yes, he probably is as qualified as anyone in the Trump circle.

There really is no line anymore between satire and reality.

So good fucking luck, Consigliere Kushner.

(5,730 posts)So, he's turned most everything over to Kushner.
How little Kushner knows compared to the people on the other side. In terms of intellect, it is a bug versus an Army of Generals. Kushner, like DT, has always been so pampered and made to feel so special for being rich, that he doesn't even know how over his head he is. The opposition will see it clearly.
